Lynset Boarding Kennels and Cattery has been established in Athlone for over 30 years.  The kennels are located on ten acres of open fields in the lush countryside of Ballykeeran.

Although we are mainly a dog and cat boarding service, over the years we have cared for Horses, Rabbits, Pigs, Chickens, Birds and even Fish.  We  provide the highest quality care for your pets. This has been,  and remains at the heart of our business since we began in 1987.  With professional service, top quality facilities, and the highest standards of care and attention, you can be assured  that your pet will receive a top class service during their stay with us.  

We are open all year round and our Kennels and separate Cattery are designed for Comfort and Security.  

We offer boarding accommodation for Dogs and Cats as well as a Full Grooming Service. We cater for long or short stays for all makes and shapes of dogs and cats.

We have a family of our own dogs and cats, of all makes and shapes many of which are rescues. Our most recent addition is a family of eleven rescued hens. We saved these from a battery farm and they are now happy free range hens in their own secure enclosure.

Look out for fresh free range eggs when you visit us!
